Privacy Policy

Overview

Zeti is designed with your privacy as a priority. All fasting data, journal entries, and health information are stored locally on your device by default. We do not sell, share, or transmit your personal health data to third parties.

Data We Collect

All of your data — including fasting sessions, journal entries, mood logs, weight entries, and images — remains on your device at all times and is never uploaded to any server.

We collect anonymized usage data through Firebase Analytics to understand how users interact with the app. This data cannot be used to identify you and includes:

• App features used and when
• Fasting session start/end events (duration, completion)
• Settings preferences you enable
• Onboarding completion (without personal details)

We do NOT collect: your name, email, weight values, journal notes, or any health measurements.

Local Storage

All app data is stored in a local SQLite database on your device. This data is only accessible by Zeti on your device and is not backed up to any cloud service unless you use your device's own backup system (e.g. Google Backup).

• Journal entries and attached images
• Mood and weight logs
• App preferences and settings

Camera & Photo Access

If you choose to attach photos to journal entries, the app requests access to your camera and photo library. Images you select are stored locally on your device. We do not upload or transmit images to any server.

Notifications

With your permission, the app sends local notifications for fasting stage milestones and reminders. These notifications are generated entirely on your device — no notification data is sent to external servers.

iOS App Tracking

On iOS devices, the app requests your permission before enabling analytics tracking. You can decline or change this setting in your device's Privacy settings. If you decline, no analytics data is collected.

Crash Reporting

We use Firebase Crashlytics to automatically collect crash reports when the app encounters errors. These reports help us fix bugs and improve app stability. Crash reports may include device information and app state at the time of the crash, but never your personal health data.

Data Retention & Deletion

All locally stored data can be deleted at any time via Settings → Reset All Data. This permanently removes all fasting history, journal entries, and preferences from your device.

Third-Party Services

Zeti uses the following third-party services to operate and improve the app:

• Firebase (Google) — Analytics and crash reporting

These services operate under their own privacy policies.

Pro Waitlist

When you join the Pro waitlist, we collect your email address to notify you when Pro features become available. You can unsubscribe at any time from the app settings. We do not share your email with third parties.

Children's Privacy

Zeti is not directed at children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as the app evolves. Significant changes will be noted in the app update release notes. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
